Did you ever wonder why the Mardi Gras colors were chosen?
Rex, the king of the carnival, selected the official Mardi Gras colors in 1872 to honor the visiting Russian Grand Duke Alexis Alexis Alexandrovich Romanoff, whose house colors were purple, green and gold.
Purple Represents Justice. Green Represents Faith. Gold Represents Power.
I don't know about you but I just love the colors purple, green and gold! They make for a stunning layout! This kit will be so much fun to put together!
